A lawyer was removed from the Supreme Court on Friday after allegedly misbehaving during the hearing of a petition challenging an Allahabad High Court order. The lawyer himself had filed the petition.
From the start of the hearing, the lawyer took an aggressive approach. He later began using abusive language in the courtroom, threw papers related to the case into the air and shouted, “Give it to that **** CJI.”
Following the incident, security personnel escorted him out of the courtroom. A bench of Justice K. V. Viswanathan and Justice Alok Aradhe was hearing the matter.
The Supreme Court decided not to initiate contempt proceedings against the lawyer. The petition filed by him was also dismissed.

The lawyer was removed from the microphone by security and taken out of the courtroom.

Immediately after the lawyer threw the papers, the lawyer sitting behind was badly scared.
Lawyer told the judge: “I order you”
At the beginning of the hearing, the petitioner said, “Your Honour, I order you to direct the registration of an FIR against the ACP of Lucknow.”
Justice K. V. Viswanathan expressed surprise and asked, “Are you ordering me? Are you ordering us?”
The petitioner replied, “That’s all from my side. Everything is on record.”
Started using abusive language
The lawyer then threw the case papers into the air and began using abusive language in open court. Security personnel immediately intervened and removed him from the courtroom.
It is not yet known whether any separate action was taken against the petitioner following the incident.
Court did not initiate contempt proceedings
Despite the disruption, the bench decided not to initiate contempt of court proceedings or take any other action against the petitioner.
Justice K. V. Viswanathan said, “We do not want to take any action against him. As far as the merits of the case are concerned, we have examined the records and found no substantial grounds to interfere with the challenged order. The Special Leave Petition is dismissed.”
