Amidst the ongoing war of words with BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut, CJP spokesperson Saurav Das said that one of his friends told him that he looks like young Hrithik Roshan.
In a conversation with journalist Barkha Dutt on ‘The Mojo Story’, Saurav said that he has no personal animosity towards Kangana.
Saurav said that he had also appealed to Kangana through his Instagram story to remain calm and sit down for a conversation. According to him, differences should be resolved through dialogue because the culture of discussion and debate in the country is continuously weakening.
Saurav further stated that his friends also raised questions about this. He shared, ‘My friends were also messaging me asking why she is after you now? One of them said that I somewhat resemble young Hrithik Roshan.’ However, Saurav expressed surprise at this.
When Saurav was asked if he would like to meet Kangana for coffee, he said he had no objection to it. According to him, he holds no personal animosity towards anyone, not even BJP MPs.
Kangana flared up at Saurav Das’s statement
Notably, earlier, actress and MP Kangana Ranaut, who had been continuously criticising student protests, flared up at the statement made by Saurav Das, spokesperson for the ‘Cockroach Janta Party’.

Protesters are being beaten and abused on the streets by common people because of their dirty and insulting reels. They should understand that when you speak, you also have to listen. If you damage public property, the same public will also harm you. If you have a problem with the country and its leadership and have publicly hurled many dirty abuses, then now listen to those who love this country and brought this government to power with the strength of their votes. Because they also have the right to speak. There is nothing to cry about now.
Additionally, Kangana had written in another Instagram story,
The most surprising thing is the behaviour of young Hindu women. They want to imitate the lives of independent and career-oriented women, but they don’t want to earn that freedom. Truly independent women make rebellious decisions, express frank opinions, choose careers outside of traditions, and take responsibility for all their decisions themselves, because they live life on their own terms. They don’t do all this at the expense of their parents or family. This is the new generation of so-called Western-minded Indian women, whom I call ‘Generation Gutter’.
She further wrote,
Some of them have nothing to give to society. They are not good in studies, and their thinking is so ugly and their mentality so corrupt that they cannot even become good homemakers. Yet they openly display their so-called freedom to do drugs, drink alcohol, or have physical relations with many people. They shamelessly depend on their parents’ earnings and keep demanding to live an independent life without actually being self-reliant. A humble reminder: an independent life has to be earned. If you try to live an independent life without taking responsibility, then you are just a perverted personality – ‘gutter chap’.
