Temp reduces in Haryana after sudden rainfall.
The situation in Jammu and Kashmir remains serious due to continuous rain. On Monday, 11 more people died in various rain-related incidents. With this, the death toll has risen to 23 in the last two days. Seven people are still missing in the flood-affected areas of Poonch and Rajouri. Relief and rescue operations were affected due to continuous rain.
In Assam, heavy rain triggered a landslide in Guwahati on Monday, while a section of National Highway 715 was submerged. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said more than 1.7 lakh people have been affected across 12 districts.
Meanwhile, the monsoon has regained strength in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Light rain is forecast across nearly 90% of Madhya Pradesh until 23 July, while Rajasthan has issued rain alerts for 33 districts, including Jaipur, after the monsoon became active again following a two-week lull.
