As a precaution, his mother has been placed in isolation, while other family members are undergoing COVID-19 testing.

Doctors said the current pattern resembles the Omicron wave, with most patients experiencing mild upper respiratory symptoms. However, elderly people and those with underlying health conditions remain at higher risk of severe illness.
