
The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has announced the CLAT 2027 exam date. The Common Law Admission Test will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2026, in a single shift from 2 pm to 4 pm.
The online application portal will open on August 3, 2026, and the last date to apply is October 31, 2026. Candidates can check the official notice on the CLAT website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
How to apply
- Visit consortiumofnlus.ac.in and click on the CLAT 2027 registration link on the homepage.
- Register with the required details, then fill out the application form.
- Pay the application fee and submit the form.
- Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
Documents required
- Recent passport-size photograph (plain background, front-facing)
- Candidate’s signature
- Category certificate (for SC/ST/OBC applicants)
- Relevant certificate for PwD category, if applicable
- Relevant certificate for BPL category, if applicable
Application fee
As per last year’s notice, the fee is ₹4,000 for General/OBC candidates and ₹3,500 for SC/ST/BPL/PwD candidates. Previous years’ question papers are available separately for ₹500, not included in the application fee. Bank transaction charges for online payment must be borne by the candidate and will be shown on the payment gateway page.
