The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has been staging a protest at Jantar Mantar since June 20, demanding action over alleged paper leaks and examination irregularities. Protesters are also seeking the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
The agitation intensified after the Parliament March on July 20, drawing increased participation and public support.
At the protest site, demonstrators were seen raising slogans and confronting Delhi Police personnel, while some supporters applauded the police’s baton-charge during the recent protests.
Meanwhile, people from across the country have been sending food to Jantar Mantar to support the protesters, with several meal packets arriving at the venue. Sanitary pads have also been sent for women participating in the demonstration.
