The protest at Jantar Mantar, ongoing since June 20 regarding the NEET paper leak and irregularities in the education system, concluded on Saturday. After the resignation of former Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) announced the end of the movement.
Following this, protesters started returning home from Jantar Mantar. The stage, which had been set up here for 36 days, was removed. Loudspeakers were taken down. After this, the remaining garbage at the protest site was cleaned by NDMC and students. Police forces remained deployed here.
