A decision has been taken to form a high-power task force under the leadership of Nandan Nilekani. Which will focus on examination reforms.

23 July: First video released Modi says: Paper Leak Amendment Bill to be introduced in Parliament
In a 2.56-minute video message posted on the X handle at 12 midnight on July 23, Modi said, “Paper leaks are no minor issue. They are painful for millions of students and their parents. Therefore, we have taken numerous steps in the last two and a half months since the paper leak. The culprits have been caught and are in jail. It was our responsibility to ensure that students’ year was not wasted, so we conducted exams for 22 lakh students in a short time. The results were also declared on July 19th.”
Directed to set up fast track courts…
He also said, “We are not satisfied with this. Therefore, we have directed the creation of a fast-track court.” This entire matter is related to the NEET UG paper leak that occurred on May 3rd.

Jitendra Singh will introduce a bill related to paper leak in Parliament tomorrow.
After the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan and the end of the Cockroach Janta Party’s movement, a bill related to prevention of paper leak will be introduced in the Parliament on Monday.
The bill is called the ‘Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026.’ Union Minister Jitendra Singh will introduce the bill in the Lok Sabha.
The bill will amend the 2024 law. It will provide for stringent punishments and heavy fines for those convicted. State governments and union territories will be able to establish special fast-track courts, which will conduct daily hearings.
