Air India flight no. IX1058 was coming from Bhubaneswar, Odisha to Delhi.
An Air India flight from Bhubaneswar to Delhi narrowly escaped an accident on Tuesday. Passengers said Flight IX1058 took off at 3:30 pm, but around 30 minutes later, the aircraft began shaking mid-air.
More than 150 passengers on board were left terrified. They alleged that the pilot struggled to control the aircraft and increased its speed.
According to passengers, the flight drifted towards Charkhi Dadri in Haryana instead of Delhi before being turned around and brought back to Delhi Airport. The flight eventually landed in Delhi about 30 minutes earlier than scheduled.
Air India has not issued any official statement on the incident so far.

A female passenger placed her hand on her chest and said “Thank God” while exiting the airport.

Some passengers were seen complaining to staff at Delhi airport.

It can be seen in the flight tracker map that the flight went from Delhi towards Haryana.
Flight landed in Delhi 30 minutes early
Sparsh Singal, a resident of Kurukshetra, Haryana, said he works as a salesman at a private bank. He had travelled to Puri on July 14 to participate in the Lord Jagannath Yatra and was returning on Tuesday after offering prayers.
He said his Bhubaneswar–Delhi Air India flight (IX1058) took off at around 3:30 pm. Everything was normal initially, but about 30 minutes into the journey, the aircraft began experiencing severe turbulence and started shaking violently. Panic spread among the passengers, with many screaming in fear. A woman reportedly even lost consciousness.
According to Singal, the pilot increased the aircraft’s speed while trying to stabilise it. He claimed the flight eventually landed at Delhi Airport around 30 minutes ahead of schedule. He added that passengers tried to speak to airport officials after landing but did not receive any response.
