A late-night firing incident near MLA Savitri Jindal’s hospital in Hisar, Haryana, created panic after armed criminals opened fire on a group of Kanwariyas in Dayanand Colony.
Six rounds fired, husband-wife and daughter injured
According to eyewitnesses, five to six attackers arrived on two motorcycles near Tikona Park and Shiv Temple and fired around six rounds at the crowd.
A husband, wife and their 12-year-old daughter sustained serious bullet injuries in the attack.
Kanwariyas rushed for safety after firing
Following the firing, panic spread among people present at the spot, with several Kanwariyas running for cover to save their lives. Even after the attackers fled, tension continued in the area for some time.
Police identify suspects, raids underway
Local residents rushed the injured family to nearby Jindal Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. Police reached the spot after receiving information, collected details and started an investigation.
Two suspects have reportedly been identified, and both allegedly have previous cases registered under the Arms Act. Police teams are conducting raids to trace the accused.

Family had come out to drop off nephew
According to information received from the police, on Wednesday night a large number of Kanwariyas were gathering near the Shiv temple, who were moving ahead after having darshan.
During this time, Govind (36), a resident of Dayanand Colony, had come there with his wife Nisha (30) and 12-year-old daughter Beera alias Gunnu to drop off his nephew. His nephew was also going to take Kanwar.
Just then, 5-6 masked miscreants arrived on two bikes and without saying anything started firing bullets indiscriminately.
Passersby rushed them to hospital
In this firing, Govind, his wife and daughter were injured by gunshots. After the firing, while the attacker youths fled towards ITI Chowk, there was chaos at the spot.
Passersby immediately rushed the injured family to Jindal Hospital. Within a short while, Councillor Jagmohan Mittal also reached the hospital.
Doctors said, “The condition of all three family members admitted to the hospital is out of danger. The councillor said that Govind works in Jindal Factory.”
MLA informed about the case
After this sudden incident, Councillor Jagmohan Mittal said that he has also informed MLA Savitri Jindal. He was told that the injured are being treated in the hospital.
Govind was shot in the back, Beera in the chest and Nisha in the arm. Govind’s brother Gautam said that the bullet that hit his brother
Nisha went through the arm. However, all the injured are out of danger. He said that the police also reached the spot immediately.

Police scan CCTV footage to trace attackers
Urban Estate Police Station In-charge Inspector Vikas Kumar said, “The statements of the injured are currently being recorded. Based on their statements, a report will be prepared and further legal action will be taken.”
Two suspects identified, search underway
Police are examining CCTV footage from nearby areas to identify the motorcycle-borne attackers and trace their movement before and after the firing.
According to police sources, two suspects have been identified as Rahul and Mukesh. Both allegedly have previous cases registered against them under the Arms Act. Police teams are conducting further investigation to locate the accused.
