Kuber’s family members were also present there at the time of the ride.

As soon as Kuber fell down after the lock opened, people present at the spot immediately rushed down to save him
Following the accident, Kuber’s family accused the resort management of negligence, alleging that the zipline’s safety lock malfunctioned during the ride.
They also claimed the equipment was rusty and poorly maintained, arguing that proper inspection and maintenance could have prevented the accident.
The resort manager confirmed that a zipline accident had occurred but denied staff negligence.
According to the management, the incident resulted from a technical fault rather than human error.
The manager said the resort would take responsibility and that representatives would visit Vijayapura to meet the injured tourist and his family to discuss the matter.
