
Candidates allotted seats in Delhi University’s postgraduate Spot Round 1 admissions must accept them by 4:59 pm today (31 July) to complete the admission process for the 2026–27 academic session.
According to the university, 10,577 candidates had given their consent to participate in Spot Round 1, of whom 1,358 have been allotted seats. The round was conducted for applicants who had registered under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS PG) 2026 but did not secure admission in the earlier rounds.
After candidates accept their allotted seats, colleges and departments will verify and approve the admissions online between 31 July and 1 August. The last date to pay the admission fee is 2 August.

Only candidates who had registered under CSAS PG 2026 but were not admitted to any postgraduate programme were eligible to participate in Spot Round 1. They had to log in to their CSAS dashboard, select the Spot Round option for their preferred programme and apply against the available vacant seats.
