Responding to a question about the possibility of the two NCP factions reuniting, Sharad Pawar said on Tuesday that there is no question of coming together.

The remarks came a day after NCP (Sharad Pawar) working president and MP Supriya Sule met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Monday.

Following the meeting, speculation grew that the Sharad Pawar faction could join the BJP-led NDA.

NCP minister says nothing can be confirmed

Commenting on the meeting between Sharad Pawar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Maharashtra Minister Girish Mahajan said no one knows what was discussed.

He said that, for now, there are only rumours and speculation, and nothing can be confirmed.
