Amidst ongoing protests across the country regarding paper leak cases in competitive examinations, including NEET, PM Narendra Modi announced that fast-track courts would be established to punish those guilty in paper leak cases. On this, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, termed it an attempt to hide the ‘destruction of the education system’.

Rahul Gandhi alleged in a post on social media platform ‘X’ that the Prime Minister himself is responsible for destroying the country’s education system and harming the future of the youth.

Rahul’s Tweet:

Rahul Gandhi wrote, ‘You have caused the most damage to the future of our youth. You not only allowed our education system to be completely taken over and ruined, but you also promoted it and protected every person responsible for it. The students’ demands are clear:

  1. Remove Dharmendra Pradhan from his post
  2. Apologize to the students
  3. Take action against those who committed violence against students.

Rahul said – 7.5 crore students affected by NEET paper leak

Rahul Gandhi held a press conference for about 40 minutes on Wednesday at Indira Bhawan in Delhi regarding the lathi-charge against students. He first played videos of students participating in the Cockroach Janata Party’s Sansad Chalo March on July 20 in his presentation.

Rahul said that security forces brutally beat the students. Why was this done? The NEET paper leak has affected 7.5 crore students and their families across the country. No one has been punished in the NEET case.

Rahul showed slides during the presentation. In which he made three demands. First – Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan should resign. Second – action should be taken against those who beat the students. Third – PM Modi should apologize to the students.

Rahul was picked up by the police from the protest

On Tuesday, Congress staged a protest near PM Modi’s official residence, 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, at 3:30 PM. Many leaders, including Rahul, Priyanka Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, and Akhilesh Yadav, participated in it.

Rahul demanded the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in the NEET paper leak case and a discussion on the issue in Parliament. During this, slogans of ‘PM Modi, resign’ were raised.

This was the first time that an opposition leader staged a protest near the PM’s residence. Congress made the plan extremely secret. MPs and leaders were called under the pretext of Kharge’s birthday.
