Students allotted seats in the first round of Delhi University’s Undergraduate Admissions 2026 must accept their allotted seat by 11.59 pm on July 18. Candidates who fail to do so will be removed from the CSAS admission process and will not be considered for further rounds.
Delhi University released the first seat allocation list on July 16 at 5 pm under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). After accepting a seat, candidates must complete document verification and pay the admission fee within the prescribed timeline to secure provisional admission.

How to check DU UG seat allotment
Candidates can check their allotment status by:
- Visiting the official DU UG admission portal.
- Logging in using their CUET UG 2026 application number and password.
- Entering the security captcha.
- Opening the First Round Allotment Status link.
- Downloading the allotment letter for future reference.
Once the allotted college verifies the uploaded documents, candidates can pay the admission fee online to confirm their provisional admission.
The second seat allocation list will be released on July 25. Candidates who wish to remain in the admission process must complete all Round 1 formalities within the deadlines announced by the university.
